Yeah basically that mate - I have been getting mad hot button and warm tube issues on my SS version, doubled down and bought a Black Copper versions (in for a penny and all that) and with the exact same build there are zero issues. . . . .

Ah I see. I haven't had any hot button issues yet with a 0.12 build and a vtc5a but I'll keep a look out for it. Maybe a bit of warm button but not hot as such

Yeah warm - hot is a strong word - but the button gets hotter than the rda, which leads me to think things aint right - Heat soak I can understand but yeah - I build at the same ohmage and use 20700 various 30amp ones from Fogstar

I was talking to someone in chat during a UKVN broadcast about this issue with the Polished SS Dreamer, as a lot of people have had arcing and hot button issues, but I haven't had any issues with mine, running a 0.25ohm dual coil build in a Goon 1.5 on it.

I too am using a VTC5a, which he thought might be the reason I haven't had any problems, as all the people he had heard had hit buttons were using 20700s.

After trying it throughout the day with both vtc5a's and a 20700 I found it less warm with the sony's. Could be coincidental or the warm weather misleading. Also used two different rda's, one with a copper 510 for the sony's the 20700 with which I think was gold plated.
