Dripper recommendation needed

Hi all, I am in need of a dripper, it's use will purely be to check/taste my DIY liquid.

Now here's the thing, I need on that will give a cool vape, I bought a small smoktech one from FT as it was goin for pennies but it gives a really warm vape and has unsettled my asthma, which I haven't had a problem with since giving up the cigarettes I must add!

So what's out there if anything?

Good airflow is going to give you a cooler vape and a pretty high wattage so you are looking for something that can take a single coil. The derringer is my current favourite but the small chamber size might not be ideal, what are you firing it on?

Was going to say that most people recommend a Derringer clone as a first RDA, but I haven't been overly impressed by the flavour with mine. Going to try playing around with it a bit more, but so far am kinda disappointed. Do have a Mutation X clone in the post at the moment so maybe that will be better.

I have various mods to use, istick 20w if I made a coil over an ohm but also have istick 50w and ipv mini 2

I would be inclined to increase the resistance of the coil in the dripper you have and if possible drill the air holes larger.
I do not know your dripper but my feeling is that if the vape is harsh it is more about the build than the dripper.
You could also try reducing the wattage.

The vape wasn't harsh at all... In fact it was quite nice, it's just the temperature that's a problem

My advice remains the same. A higher resistance coil and more air should sort it.
My view is a dripper is pretty much a dripper and you should be able to use what you have to get what you want

You will love the Mutation over the Derringer. Derringers are crap.
