Dry burning coils

Hi people,
Quick question please, how many times roughly can you dry burn a coil before it’s past its best ?

I dry burn my coils every time I change the cotton and brush with a small wire brush and keep using the coil until i get a loss of flavour for my juice.

I just recently changed one of my coils after I'd used it for about 6 - 8 months. I think eventually an old coil is bound to start having too much of an adverse effect on the flavour but as long as a coil still looks in good condition and I'm getting nice flavour again after a cotton change it saves time not having to fit a new coil every time.
