I could see it coming to be honest. While I respect everybody has a right to an opinion and without singling anybody or any comment specifically, there was a air of negativity towards Vic going on there by some. I suppose you have to ask yourself, how would you like it? I know people feel he may or may not have been taking more then he gave to the forum, and I can accept that point of view with respect to this being a community and all, but again, you have to ask yourself how community minded was it to approach the subject publicly in that way and single him out. I've seen some really great things on this forum over the years that I've been a member, real genuine acts of compassion, generosity and kindness to each other. This situation just makes me feel a bit rubbish to be honest, it could and probably should have been handled a little better in my opinion.

So me getting an email from Digbys and sharing that code on the forum, that's the same as this thread to you?

Even though I have no association with the company in any way, I don't get sent free juice for sharing the code, I'm not reviewing the products and I'm not promoting my own youtube channel that reviews e-liquids ...... that's the same thing?

Your missing the point, people moaning about reviewers and companies getting free advertizing is no different to posts like the fasttech coupon thread, it generate free advertizing and members go spend money. which is no different to some reviewers who make money per click fasttech make money from the coupon yet don't contribute
No way did i say you had done wrong, i did say you as well as myself and others also take advantage of the free advertizing at times which in this case is 20% off fasttech who have payed nothing to get a free ad. Ok they didn't ask for a free ad but i still think its similar not exactly the same just similar so why are people moaning about anything,
someone mentioned there seems to be a bit of a clique on the site, which i could say is backed up by the fact that when one member says something a few others wade in as well to there defence, why don't people let individuals sort out whats wrong instead

Fair comment, all i am saying is there is no reason for any of the moaning about the reviewers or any of the stuff in the thread, if people wanted to ask a reviewer a question they can go to the revieweers Youtube and do that, Most people ask the forum if they have a question, so in sense there;s no need to ask the reviewer. Its all a daft thread to me in a way and it's a bad one as there are so many disagreements it will end up becoming a mass argument and no one wants that.
The answer to everything is if you don't like the thread or the comments or have a problem with a post. Just ignore it and move on to another. This would prevent any problems or arguing between members. In truth no one has the right to tell anyone else what to do but this thread as sort of been that. No one likes to have others poke their nose into their business i think thats the main thing to remember, when anyone calls someone on something they should think about how they would feel themselves if someone called them out. we can all agree on the fact that everyone feels the same when someone moans or comments about them in a negative way, so why does anyone do it.

Wow this is juicey when I joined here I did so to get help and advise along with general banter that goes on in forums not to watch reviews, for reviews I subscribe to the channels I want to watch on you tube, which includes Vic, Dean and Todd. But I do read the reviews posted by members on here.
Personally it doesn't bother me if a You Tube reviewer post's a video cos I've probably watched it anyway, so the issue seems to be if a You Tuber posted a video then does not reply to any questions asked regarding that review. In respect of Vic he does promote PoTV on some of his videos.
As this was started on his review post it 'appears' that he is being singled out, when in actual fact a thread totally separate from a specific review, discussing whether You Tube reviewers should continue to post their reviews on here or not would have been more diplomatic.
That in itself would be a difficult one because each member would have a different opinion, a number of which have been posted above....however, there is one reviewer I could seriously slap, I can't stand his mono tone voice

I'm a little torn here. I do like the forum and enjoy participating. I also enjoy Vic's reviews and subscribe to his You Tube channel. He does strike me as being one of the most impartial reviewers and often has very useful information for his viewers.

However, this is a forum and as such is reliant on two (or more) way communication. Some of the adjectives being used to describe this situation are a bit OTT. Maybe Vic should be encouraged to interact with the forum a bit more.
