The YT reviews posted on here hardly ever get comments or conversations started. Text reviews around here on the other hand......[emoji1]

I have noticed the same a lot of late as well but didn't want to speak out of turn, stopping someone posting their vids thinking it might be down to sour grapes or some sort of vape drama. We try not to do drama. I have considered several times on putting a post limit of a couple of hundred on the reviews section to stop the YT spammers just posting their shite in here and not contributing anything else to the place. I would have to delete his post count of course for it to have the desired effect

What do you all reckon?

We come on the forum to ask for help and help others. And like me, a few of us to do all the above and have a laugh.
People like victor only posting he's reviews are scandalous. If it was a written reviews and him replying back to people then I'm all for it as a few members do that here

I personally think you stop all reviewers posting there links to there YouTube videos full stop. They don't contribute anything to the forum like strange face victor. I love this forum and enjoy chatting to all in here but people like victor just ruin it and make it look like a sponsor for the forum which I really doubt you want.

Do not ban the guy but I think you should send some warning to him to stop it. It only makes sense. We all know youtube and where to find videos.

I think, in my tiny little mind, that you should have to earn the right to spam the shit out of the place via any self promotion at all unless you're a vendor posting your products and offers.

There's dozens of these YouTube crazies who pop on, link a video, then fuck off. And for what? They're mostly small timers anyways who nobody really watches. So fully agree boss. Line 'em up.

I mean, as an example, when was the last time Todd or Dean spammed us with post after post about their videos? They're members here- but they don't do it because they've got enough credibility to not have to.

I find what he is doing incredibly rude and arrogant, not to mention highly disrespectful of what you have built here. He doesn't deserve your tolerant attitude. Hasn't earned it.

had on a minute.... just so im clear after nigh on 3 yrs of posting reviews today its suddenly a problem for vic(and all the other reviewers as well i guess).... i must have missed the announcement about us moving the servers to North Korea...... one of the greatest things about this place is the huge information resource it represents imo the reviewers are part of that surely. I know its one of the subs i look at regularly yes i could trawl you tube for them but you cant set yourself up as a repository of knowledge and then disbarr a lump of that knowledge

Whatever ..... I don't watch his videos because of the 'cum face' he does all the time.

I dunno, if you're asking for opinions, I don't care enough to care ... sorry.

although ..... I was talking to a mate about this place the other day though and he said "I heard that place was a bit cliquey" ... which I disagreed with because really I don't find it myself often... but yeah, I don't want people to feel like they can't post, even if they are just dropping in to post a video that could be of interest to people.

Completely get what you're saying, I think it's just that in the last 7-8 months of posting a link to 1-2 reviews every couple of weeks, he's only replied 5 maybe 6 times in the conversations following the link to the video....
There's been a Fair bit of chatter after a few of his video links but very rarely chimes in or answers questions people ask regarding something they've seen in the video.
Just seems a little unfair is all.
I get what you mean though, I suppose it all adds to the wealth of information to be found here..
