Viridor worker was sacked for breaching a new company policy, despite the fact that no one had yet been told the new policy.

The company I work for have a policy about E-cigs but it as never been issued. My boss asked if I use mine while driving my train and on stations . I was honest and said yes , He said no problem. I asked about the so called policy and he told me they don't have one but the directors don't want to see any one using them in front of the public as its not the image they want associating with the company.

I suppose all the more reason to vape on something that doesn't look like a conventional cigarette. You couldn't mistake a vamo for a ciggy, could you?
