Ethyl Maltol burning?

Does anyone else's juices go brown really quickly because of adding EM?
A few days in an Atty and the juice is quite dark. Maybe its burning on my wick and and going back into the tank because its not that dark in the bottle.
Anyone else get this?

I dont really find EM great as a sweetener.. i use it primarily to bind flavours and then use PA's sweetener to get that toothache kind of sweet

Ive only been adding 1% em. Do your juices go brown in your tanks?

Thanks bud. Good to know. My custard looks like dark rum at the moment. It tastes ace though. I'd better vape it quicker. :-)
