What's new

Evolv DNA200

Looks pretty...but the proof of the pudding as they say...

No doubt this when it gets released will set you back a pretty penny, but the ability to fine tune it via your computer makes me interested right away....

User upgradable too, this is an overdue feature in vaping chipsies. Hoping for a new era.

Holy shish kebab! That's got my goolies in a twist. I love the fact I can hook this up to my terminal and fully customise it and monitor it. That is feckin' awesome! Power is pretty unnecessary for me but so is 12-16GB of RAM when I'm not a gamer and rarely use VM's.

ax - if you are intending on adding this chip to one of your future builds then I am doubly interested. :D

Well I've been bouncing the idea around of doing an SX350J mod in a short run, which is now upgradeable to 150w with dual 18650s. However, this has really peaked my interest. I've always discounted Evolv due to the 40-50w limit and being plagued with issues. I'll be keeping an eye on the development of this with interest.

That's superb. Even if you were doing the SX350J in a short run I would be pretty happy to go for that as well as the DNA200 mod when it becomes available. ;)

It's more likely to be one or the other. The YiHi board is accurate, tried and tested which is why I've been looking at it. It's not going to be just your run-of-the-mill Hammond either, I can't justify putting a board like that into a cheap enclosure, the words ergonomic billet box keep coming to mind.

Haha! Completely understand! Regardless of what you decide to go with I will keep my eyes peeled. :D

Saw the Field Of Vapor YouTube video of this earlier. Reading the comments it appears to be running at >11v so a nice big box with plenty of batteries would appear to be in order ;)
