Evolv DNA200

Evolv made a major mistake to believe that they could be the tail that wags the dog. They tried to tell vapers that TC was only applicable to nickel, they tried to tell us that 40W was more than enough. Then they fucked up with their own QA. They're well behind the curve now.

I'm not tech savvy, I'm flummoxed by what a vaper would want to change in the software on his device. What is it that you're expecting to see and amend?

I'm assuming that you'll be able to customise things like the "Attack" Profile similar to the Soft/Powerful/ Powerful+ on the SX350J, The temp control threshold and refresh frequency, create custom memory slots, menu orders and create your own error message screens & logos - basically all the things you could do without rewriting the most basic bits of the operating system...

Be nice to have a simple on/off switch ! All that 5 click stuff does my nut. That would be a hardware add on though.
Thinks on..

Trouble with that is, that unless you have a huge great bulky switches capable of handling the full current then they arent really ON/OFF switches, more a physical lock switch, and unless they are well designed and placed they can be moved by accident - one knock is more likely than 5 in the right time period, thats why you only get about 750ms or so to do the 5 clicks...

One of my biggest regrets as a vaper was buying a rDNA 40. I know it's all been said before but I did feel like the board was underpowered and on top of that it only lasted a week before it eventually gave me the scrambled screen. I got it replaced with an M Class and I've been more than happy tbh. Do I want or need 200 watts? No, do I want to tinker and edit the firmware? No. After a week of using an evolv board it has put me off using products with their boards in them. If they can all of a sudden offer us a board that's user updated etc why not offer that with the DNA40? The m class had the Eco mode battery bug, after they released their first firmware update, so they sorted it with another update. If Evolv release an updated DNA40, you're fucked.

Holy shit I love a good moan.
