Hi, if anyone can help me, I’d be grateful! I’m at my wits end and it’s taking all my strength not to whip out a fag!
I’m looking to get my 7th vape of the year! I’ve had 2 aspires, and 4 different smoks and all worked fine for a few months until they didn’t!
I currently have the smok morph 219 and the last few months I’ve not been getting a hit, coils lasting less time, no taste and every time I change the coil, even lower power.
I’ve changed the coil two hours ago, and I the power is the lowest it’s ever been! I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong! Can anyone help/advise of a vape that wont konk on me!?

Which coils and wattage have you used? Does the mod read the correct Ohms for the coil? Have you ever cleaned the connection between the tank and mod?

Smok do not have the best reputation for quality, but some like them. My opinion of Aspire is the same but again, some like them.

Hi and welcome also :D

what batteries do you have in the morph and what wattage are you running it at?

Hi @Hannah Wheatley and welcome to the planet.

smok did go way down on quality control a few years back but coils should still last a couple of days at least.
as said, what juice, ratio vg/pg, are you adding nic shots and if so what ratio. and are you after big clouds or more mouth to lung.

time to step back from smok and check some others out.
my past 4 mods have all been excellent and i highly rate all. geekvape legend and new legend 2, geekvape x with big screen and vaporesso gen. for tanks i can recommend freemax mesh pro, geekvape zeus im hammering at the mo and gives great flavour. falcon king is a decent tank as well.

It would be wrong of me to suggest a brand tbh as I would obviously recommend 1

But my own personal experience is that it was my frustration with smok coils that got me into rebuildable tanks.

Personally I’d keep hold of your mod and buy an rdta .

The costs are as follows
Rdta tank £20-40 depending on make

Cotton- labbo puff £9 will last you a year.
Roll of basic 26g ss round wire 50ft £9 will last a year

Small tool kit £10 ish

That’s your investment. And that will do you for a minimum of 12 months

If you place the cost against the price of stock coils in a year a bet you save £100 plus.

You also get a far better vape.

And once you’ve built on it a couple of times it becomes second nature.

BUT BEWARE

The above is the map down the rabbit hole

Oh to add try pin pricking your cotton in the stock coil a little, might help the juices flow just don’t damage the wire

Also make sure you give your stock coils 5 mins to soak up the juice and ramp your watts up slowly 5 watts every few puffs, also helps your juice move into the wick

Do you change your flavours very often or at all. Taste buds can become tired of the same flavours all the time.

I have the Smok Morph Kit and been using it for the past 2 or 3 Days and not experienced any problems, very nice flavour from a cheap kit which has surprised me. I vape just with a 70/30 mix and it's really good.
