Fake Charger

So looks like he has reported almost every as review on trustpilot even quite a few who are most likely verified customers including Adrian what the hell. Did I see that someone contacted trust pilot to report him a day or two ago?

Trust pilot probably wont do anything, they wil have companies saying reviews are harrasment and reviewers saying they are not all the time. This is why I only trust reviews from people I know on forums and know personally for things that I might want to buy. It will probably take trust pilot to investigate till next year before taking any action if they actually bother.

I'm sorry but i totally disagree given the circumstances.
Had the company been more proactive and put a recall notice out and been seen to be doing more to remedy this situation things would probably be very differant, but he hasnt.
One house catching on fire is one too many and given the number of these chargers out there that sadly is a possibility.
Awareness is key here, lives are potentially at risk.

I thought my sarcasm was quite pronounced

I’ve been lurking on this whole thing but I think it’s interesting how many positive trustpilot review have appeared in a short space of time recently.... they all feel like they are variations on a theme... like someone needed to knock a few bad ones back a few pages....

I think he’s got a bit of form there. If you go to the Google Maps listing for the NDB ‘business’ address and go through the reviews you’ll find a glowing review from one Josh Malone. The majority of other reviews are also from people with only a single review and who have - surprisingly some might say - chosen NDB as the only business they deemed worthy of a review. Which smells to me of a bit of astroturfing.

This guys a dirtbag, and not a very bright one at that, but much as I’d love to believe there was a bit of justice at the end of this, I sincerely doubt hel’ll end up with any worse than the inconvenience of starting a new line in scams and a very well marked card in vaping circles. I’d be delighted to be proved wrong.

My first post here so, err, hi.

Welcome
I think you are right. Lots of talk here that he can't be very bright but I think he knows what he can get away with legally. All the rest of his decisions since it all blew up have been about money and whether any actions he took would give him a ROI. No doubt another company will be born v shortly

You could be right, I take a less cynical view on it. Even if young Josh doesn’t end up getting his just deserts out of this, things have changed for him greatly now. Prior to this his name was mud only in small selected circles, now thanks to the way this has exploded the full extent of his shenanigans is out there for all to see. More so thanks to the wayback machine that’s never going away. This means that should he come under the scrutiny of the Fraud Offce, HMCR, some aspiring young local journo’ out to make a name for themselves, or the big hitters like Watchdog, Rip-Off Britain et-al. Then there’s a wealth of material out there for them regarding his business methods, his attitude to VAT and his rather lax compliance with the distance selling regs and the 1979 Sale of Goods act, all no more than a simple search query away. The Wild Wild West just got a whole lot smaller for him.

Also, on the back of this a whole lot more people will be paying far greater attention to authenticity codes in general from now on, wherever they buy from, so he’s going to find it a lot harder to palm off knock off shite on unsuspecting punters from now on, no matter what new name he comes up with.
