Fake Charger

Crumbs. Bought an i4 from NDB at the end of July, I was a bit taken aback by the strange plug but it seems to work fine. I guess I'll have to get a new one... :17:

Has anyone tested their batteries?
Yep I have back in March when I started vaping got 4 Samsung 25 R's and 4 Sony VCT5A after getting caught out on Ebay and not knowing what I know now lol 0 problems with any of them :)

So the fucker was selling this knock off shite as far back as then.
Do not use anything with these unfused plugs on. Some years ago I bought a Chinese made hard drive caddy had exactly same plug on, ended up with blue sparking and melted plastic cable. Fortunately I was in the room at the time so managed to switch off the mains and get it outside.

Massive respect to @Ben fogstar and @18650UK for their offer of replacements.

@Next Day Batteries you are a cock womble. Everyone has had problems with something they have ordered off the net at some point but when the company you purchase off quickly and efficiently sorts out any problem I think you are MORE likely to use them again and recommend them . Putting aside the fact that these chargers are fake you would have now lost many customers because of your appalling customer service alone.
If you had dealt with this properly as soon as it came to light it would have benefited you in the long run , but instead you have massively fucked people over and it makes people think that you knowingly sold fake products.
How dare you say your business is under attack and that this is a witch hunt against you , you are selling a product that could potentially maim and kill people . People have a right to know that .

Has anyone opened one of these up yet and had alook inside? The plug is scary enough so i dread to think what its like inside!

@bergkamp
Think we should send one of these to NDB

Bullshit.

You’ve gone from ‘we didn’t sell defective goods’ to ‘if we did we didn’t know we were doing it and it’s a supplier issue’ as well as ‘we have no sub standard chargers in our warehouse’ to ‘we have removed all sub standard chargers from our warehouse’

And all the time blaming the customers themselves, and saying a business of your stature (!) wouldn’t do things like that.
What stature? All your companies are a joke- as are you.
Time to go Josh, I mean, the VAT ceiling can’t be far away now no?

You’re a liar. And your business practices are deplorable.

And I’m still waiting for my invite for tea and cake.

Sincerely,
Clown boy.
