Good evening guys, I hope you take the time to read this message and actually hear what I have to say, I want to truly apologise for this whole situation, I am so sorry for everyone who purchased a fake charger from our site, I honestly hand on heart did not know, these chargers were in our normal charger order and truthfully I did not realise, we had one complaint back in July when someone brought the plug to our attention, right away we checked a few of our i4 chargers and they all had fused plugs so we thought it was a one off and continued our business, as soon as I heard about any of this, this time around I checked every single charger we had in our stockroom, we had over 600 i4 chargers a further 30 proved to be fakes, these have been destroyed and we have changed supplier, and we will thoroughly check every single product we ever receive before shipping, this was a sneaky trick and our supplier has been doing it for a while and we simply never noticed because of the low amount of fakes that were included in our orders, I hold my hands up in the air and admit that I am also to blame for not checking every single charger when the first defective unit came to our attention in July, I would also like to sincerely apologise about the way I have handled the whole situation, I was hot headed and selfish and damn right rude to a lot of people, instead of correcting the problem I made it worse, I'm so so sorry for handling everything so badly I promise you that nothing like this will ever happen again, I've learnt my lesson and I will move forward and try to rebuild with better knowledge and morals, lastly I would like to apologise for the racist comment of mine that is floating around the internet, that was completely disgusting of me and out of order, it was a drunken comment that has come back to bite me in the arse every time someone mentions my name, I do not stand by these views or believe them, what I wrong was wrong on every level and I would like to apologise personally to everyone I may have offended, I have a lot of Muslim friends I am not a racist, just an idiot after a few too many beers, we will continue to replace any fake chargers that we have sold, a lot of replacements have already arrived with customers who are happy that the problem has been resolved, if you or anyone you know is due a replacement then please message me on our company Facebook page, I'm truly sorry guys for everything, I've fucked up and although you most likely won't grace me with your forgiveness I ask you to dig deep and forgive this idiot of a man who ran from his problems and hated on those who were trying to help others, one thing that got my back up is when people tried hacking the site and messaged my girlfriend, I know I'm not in the place to say it but that's way over the line and that's what pretty much tipped me over the edge, if you have made it this far I thankyou, it's taken a lot of bollocks to write this, and this message is way overdue, thanks guys and once again I am sincerely sorry for everything.

Still nothing on your website, Josh. Until you post your notice on Next Day Batteries to warn those customers who bought chargers but don't visit your facebook page, your apologies and promises ring hollow to my ears. Damage control before customer safety. Not good enough.

Well you've had the balls to at last admit you were wrong. Biggest issue for me is it's 10 days too late. You had an opportunity then to put this right & portray yourself as a conscientious vendor but alas you have dug yourself a big hole that even you cannot get out of.

There needs to be a warning and guide for checking on the homepage of your site.

A large part of me believes that the only reason your apologising is because your orders have dried up this week.

Did the supplier of the chargers supply any other equipment? I.e cells?

Also why destroy them, they were your only recourse for compensation from your supplier. And was this before or after you tried to palm them off onto reputable vendors. And how many shops have you supplied with fake chargers. I could go on but I'm bored of excuses.

He probably destroyed them because it’s quite dramatic and tugs on the old heart strings and proves how so, so, sorry he is. Just my guess.

eta: I can just imagine him out the back of his house with tears streaming down his cheeks smashing them with a mallet then chucking them on a bonfire.
