The top-cap looks like a Samsung to me, but holding it up next to a Samsung it looks very very similar but not exact.

It's a very simple spot to be fair, I'm sure most vendors and apes here will be able to notice it straight away if they have a Sony to compare against. The only issue really is new users, but I doubt new users will be smashing these in a mech at 0.07 anyway! (Well hopefully not )

I did see this. I think this was more USA aimed, and there was an issue with mixing genuine cells with fakes. Seems it reached further than we thought though.
