What's new

fasttech Singapore Post

Hi no it wasn't next day but I did pay the little extra for the tracking it was a bulk order of quite a few items like a few tanks a few mods 3 ohm testers for reading the ohms and building on but yes as soon as it went through the packing process its ben nine days without the packing but if you add the packing of the order 12/13 days I think that's not bad from the other side of the world but I have purchased items from other suppliers and I have waited more than four weeks

i had a few orders from FT mate sing post can be fast - they are however unpredictable i got one order in 12 days next one took 18 days one after took 22 days and the one after that took 11 days - Registered china post is the most consistent in my opinion 10-12 Days always

Just to add I didn't post this on the forum to get into slagging matches I just posted it to let people know how I got on with FT cheers for the feed back

It seems to be a little better than a few months ago, but there is also a bit of luck involved.
I'm pretty sure that their orders fly out in bulk, so when an item shows as dispatched to GB, it just means it's been added to the container that will fly out once full - and it seems that this can take up to a fortnight to fill - so you could have one added to it early in the process that will wait a couple of weeks until it's ready to be shipped, or your item could be one of the last, and be in Heathrow within a day.

I had 2 orders placed 15th and 23rd March, shipped from Fasttech on 17th and 24th, both being logged as received at Heathrow within a couple of hours of each other early morning on 7th April. No further updates on them on tracking before they were delivered on the 9th. A few other people also received their FT parcels the same day - FT obviously send large containers of items together.

I've been using http://www.17track.net for tracking - much less frustrating than the tracking links on FT

Of course the stocking makes a huge difference. I'd split orders to prevent non-stock items delaying those ready immediately (all ordered 23rd March). They were listed as ready on 4th and 9th April. The latter was dispatched on 11th April, the other has had estimated shipping date withdrawn and I've no idea if & when it will be sent.

very true i think there was a lot of backlash with the whole HK post debacle they were awful - u can also use http://www.quantiumaspac.com/qtracker/track.aspx to track ur ft stuff

Lol, my current item's tracking link put me straight onto 17track from the FT website. Looks like FT prefer to use them as well. My parcel has been photographed and is now waiting with all it's friends for the container to fill.
Maybe all of us in the UK should agree to use the same carrier, so our containers fill up quicker?

Lol - might be onto something there. We also need to agree an order date, so they all get sent out by FT at the same time
