Fed up with the burning taste

Don't know your cleros, but it could also be a scorched insulator causing the burnt taste this can happen if you dry burn for too long and the coils are all resistance wire and not non-res - res - non-res.

I find that a new flavour in a new clearo with new coil can lack taste at first & give a little burnt taste. After it's soaked for good while the flavour comes through better. Then there's the flavour change to my taste buds, if i'm used to one taste for a few hours & then change to a new one there's a bit of a clash of flavours at first. Could be some remnants of manufacturing material still in the tank too, oil or what ever they use. Just suggestions.

Dodgy coil usually, probably not making contact with the wick and creating a hotspot.

unless you are building your own coils, replace your atomizer head

Either that or the voltage is too high for the ohms

I'm having this too with squid ink in an EVOD tank, only thing I haven't done is change the juice in the tank and clear that out. Once you've got a manky taste, does it stay in the juice?

I am having a similar problem. Mine is an EVOD and I have had it since Friday. Suddenly I get that dry-burn taste regularly. May be, because I no longer taste the juice flavour and so notice it more. But I hate it.
I washed it yesterday and it was fine for a while, but started playing up again this morning. Please don't tell me the atomizers only last a couple of days??

Nothing worse for me, I get this from time to time, agreed it does seem to linger. Started rebuilding my own coils now and hopefully these will perform better.
