Considering where the coil is in relation to the posts mine is in about the same place , but cotton wise I definitely need more

I think I got the ideia , seems far better now , but still very very wet

I wouldn't bother rapping the cotton around to the bottom. Cut it just past the screws and leave it laying on top of them
