First SS coil

Well I got my aga-t+ and made my first coil for it, yes I got the hotspot at the top and I worked it out so all glowed evenly, cool I thought so I filled her with juice, and pushed the button, all I got was a burnt taste then pop the wire snapped at the top. So My tank is now full of juice, what should I do?

its not oxidised properly or your wick is not wet enough mate. one of the 2

Pull the wick out and recoil it.

It snapped because the hot spot got too hot or you had a short somewhere.

Dumb question but because the tank is now filled, when I recoil how can I check for hotspots? I guess i need to empty the tank first?

Having just spent the last 3 hours trying to master this i totally agree lol. Thought i would be clever and remove a perfectly good coil and try to do a twisted coil....DOH, what a waste of effin time that was! It kinda worked but i was getting no throat hit and barely and vapour on the exhale so gave up on it. Took me 3 attempts with normal .2 kanthal to get a decent coil going lol!

Lesson No 1. If it aint fooked then deffo dont make a new one lol.

Ok I think I sussed it this morning, the first trick I have learnt is do not do this after a bottle of wine.

I rebuilt it this morning and all seems well so far, no hot spots, nice flavour and plenty of vape.

I take it the condensation build up is normal.

condensation build up is totally normal mate, i normally take my cap off at the end of the day and give it a wipe out, glad you have sussed it, it can be many ppl unicorn to do one lol

I think the main problem was the wine, I also think I was making the wick to tight, James from vapertrain Pm'd me and told me to use a paperclip to leave room for wicking, this is what I have done this morning and all seems well so far.
