I recently bought a pair of AGA T's from Markfletcher007

I was only intending to use them for silica wicks, but as Mark kindly provided some SS mesh with the package, I thought it would be rude not to have a go.

As many have seen, my initial coiling skills were sub par to be polite, but it hasn't stopped me having a bash!

So got the hob on and the needle nose pliers and got to work!

Actually less of a faff than i envisaged. Not simple by any stretch, and it may well still turn out that i am slowly murdering my batteries, but....

It looks a little something like that. Can't say it's going to win any prizes, and looks ugly as sin. However...

It goes like a fooking train!

1.2 ohm on a UDT mod in mini mode. To say I am feeling rather pleased with myself would be an understatement, and my fear and derision of SS mesh wicks has now abated :D:D

Can't beat them for convenience can you :)

Can't see me moving exclusively to rebuildables for that reason, but it's fun to dabble :)

Well done buddy! It's one of those things that sounds more complicated than it is and that puts a lot of folks off but once you done it once, the mesh ice has been broken :)

That wick looks decidedly unoxidised to me, I'm surprised it's working & not shorting out badly.
But hey if it works, well done.
If you use the drill bit method it will look neater & be easier to do, but more importantly, once it's clogged up, you will be able to pull the wick, blow torch it to get rid of all the crud, & then put it back in again without having to make a new one.

Not knocking what you're doing, just trying to offer helpful tips.

That's the exact same reason I tend to hardly use my aga t, especially since getting the protank.
Well done though sir, it's not pretty but neither was my first (and 2nd, 3rd and 4th) go but vaping well is the main thing :)

Well done bud, don't think any of your builds win any prizes for being the prettiest, but damn they do always seem to work well :D

think the phrase jammy bastard springs to mind :)

On the plus side, who gives a fuck if it's pretty, you whack a lid over it anyway :D

cheers, i'll have a butchers.

To be fair, the flash hasn't helped appearance wise, but so far no mesh taste and no dry his.

Cock knows how, but happy days :D

Well done mate. I had my first attempt at mesh wick on DID last night, messed up completely. I got a few good puffs and then horrid burning taste. After a bit of messing, I used a silica wick and it works great.
