Hi guys

I’m new to the page and still fairly new to vaping. I’ve just bought my first tube mod I’ve got a basic understanding of ohms law etc but does anyone have any other advice so I don’t end up with half my face blown off

Have you got an ohm meter or a regulated mod you can test your builds on for shorts? What batteries do you use? What builds do you normally go for? What mod is it?

Yes I’ve got both an ohm reader and a regulated mods for testing. I’ve got samsung 25R batteries the moment gonna invest in some don’t vtca25s for this tube. It’s a sebone clone I’ve just bought

what tube is it?
is it a mech with no protection or a smok :D
or is it a regulated tube like a uwell.

Inspect and clean first and get to know it, I'd need to go look up some bogan reviews of sebones to say anything more useful at this point. I wouldn't rush into it (probably too late at this point since the OP posted 3 hours ago) think it's likely a hybrid, so usual about protruding fixed 510's.

Thanks it’s not arrived yet only ordered it today

The sebone is hybrid, normally sold in kits (atty and tube)
Make sure it's all clean, put your build in and check for shorts and floating ohms, screw the atty into the tube then put your battery in. Check the battery for and tears or defects first. As a suggestion I try and have all my cells positive down as if there's an issue the cell will vent from the positive and away from your face (I think the sebone has vent holes in the switch) once it's together give it a few goes whilst double checking for hotspots, warm buttons etc. If it doesn't feel right at any point whip the battery out.
