I’m looking at getting some TFA concentrates, and wondering if any of you have used this, and what do you think of them. They look fairly priced, and the mixing % looks low, are the flavours really that concentrated?

I've been using the Perfume apprentice(Flavour apprentice) and they do go along way at about 10% I've only tried a few flavours but they have been good. :)

Thanks for that. Are Perfume Apprentice and Flavour Apprentice one of the same?

Just out of interest, are you following a recipe whilst using these concentrates? or are you gonna make it up as you go along? :)

Reason I ask is, that a lot of beginners (myself included) assume that to make a strawberry custard juice probably just needs a strawaberry and a custard concentrate. Whilst 2 such concentrates might make a vapable juice, there is often a little more to making a good juice than just two concentrates. I would always recommend using a recipe, as can be found here.

Find a recipe you like then go to a site like vapable and order the things you need. Just a suggestion. :)

You will probably notice that most recipes use a combination of different concentrate companies as each company has there good and bad concentrates. It's not often people use just one manufacturer for a recipe.

I’ve been mixing a while, and the most adventurous I’ve been is “throwing” a bit of custard in with a pie or crumble, or mint in with tobacco, but as for following a recipe, that’ll have to be a no. Perhaps one day. Thanks anyway.
