Flavour Apprentice concentrates

That’s what I’ve found with the TFA concentrates. Not very strong and unpleasant, messy off tastes in it. Other companies seem to be able to make much stronger, cleaner and more specific flavours.

I’ve only had 8 flavours from them so far, but compared to some more expensive brands, I think they are good, I’ll probably hit some bad ones in the future though, but I hope not. What company do you use now?

Mostly inawera and flavour art. A few atmos labs but i think they are harder to find now. I just find them much better, strong and clean flavours, never any unpleasant under tones It might just be that they suit my taste. I don’t like too much flavour in the liquid.

Yep agree, flavour is a pretty individual thing, but on some flavours, (desert and sweet) I like them to be strong , things like tobacco and mint I like to be subtle, just background flavours, but having a bit of a problem finding a tobacco that doesn’t remind of a cig, sounds a bit stupid that eh?

I had to add another couple of % of concentrate to them, but apart from that, I’m happy with them, the caramel and banana custard are very good, and I’m gonna be trying a few more flavours soon. Have you had any good tobacco flavours from them?

No I haven't but their ry4 is supposed to be very good, is the caramel and banana custard TFA?

The banana custard is Chefs Choice, and the Caramel Original is TFA. I’m using a lot of Ry4, but I believe it is from Capella, I get it from my local shop, it has a brilliant flavour and I mix it with caramel and ice, a nice combo trust me. I have 600ml steeping away in my wardrobe, but to me it tastes more nutty than tobacco. There are a few RY4 flavours by TFA, so I may give one of them a go.
