Flavour related questions answered

Okay didnt take long, lol.
Two questions instantly popped into my head, firstly: what is used when creating tobacco flavored e liquids?
Second: what would you say is the easiest flavour to reproduce?

Tobacco : A mixture of plant extracts and aroma chemicals, the extracts to repruce the leaf character, the aroma chemicals to reproduce the combustion type character.

Easiest Tobacco to reproduce : RY4 types.

Easiest other type of flavour : Aniseed, Mint and of course the Pangalactic Gargle Blaster (but not under Earth's atmospheric conditions).

Dumb question - are many 'concentrates' mixed especially for vaping? - most were food additives say five years ago. I've noticed a big difference between the taste of an e-liquid and the way it vapes.

Not a dumb question. Many concentrates were developed for food use outside of the UK ( in the UK natural flavours reign supreme) , were cheap and cheerful and have found their way into e-liquids. Most have been modified to make them TPD compliment, some have not. Latterly, some but not many, flavour companies , like mine, have started developing flavourings specifically for use in e-liquids.
You are right, you can tell which flavours have been developed for e-liquids and which haven’t.
There’s a depth and complexity in e-liquid specific flavours you don’t see in ones developed originally for food use. When you blend food flavours together they become muddy and ill defined , too many clashing elements.

Hope that answers your question?

Hi, Cherry is fairly straightforward, coffee notoriously difficult. Coffee works best, as does chocolate as a minor component of a more complex blend.

Thanks.....now in your opinion (taste being subjective n aw that shite)...which cherry or indeed mix of cherry available concentrates are best to use for a decent all round cherry flavour......or am I straying into secret territory here:)
