There's 2 sides to the nit comb. I use the not so tight side. Pulls all the stragglers and leaves the cotton all going in the same direction with no tangles.
I buy cellucotton (rayon) the way it`s manufactured means that the strands lie parallel so it`s less of a faff when wicking, an added benefit (for me) is that a skein is just about the perfect amount to wick up a profile RDA.
