getting low resistance warnings all of a sudden

Nothing has changed in my setup, i just put a new coil in (same coil wire as before) and all of a sudden i am getting these low resistance messages. i have cleaned everything , made a few slightly different coils but nothing is working.

I have checked the 'post' in the center of the 510 connector and it is proud of the screw thread.

What on earth could be causing this??

Loose post screw, stray bit of wire, hard to say without knowing what atty and wire you're using.

I am using some decent clapton wire that i cant remember the name of, it was recommended here though. the tank is an Augvape intake RTA and the mod is crown 4 but that is not the problem as it still works with my original tank.

This is the last of three coils i have just 'made' . normally i put one more wrap (is that the correct terminology?) in my coils but in case that was causing an issue i made this one slightly smaller.

it is not making contact with anything it shouldnt be, and i cant see any loose wire anywhere!

ETA. if i compare the post screw to the one on my crown 4 tank, it looks like it is marginally less proud but if that was not making a contact wouldnt i get a message saying no atomiser found?

It's just the edge of the 'wick channel'. It is not a bit of wire or anything.

I will see if I can get a better picture when I get up. I took a few but the others were blurry.

Just to rule it out, are the legs properly caught under the screw? They both look it from the overhead pic

Yes, i have had that problem a couple of times, so i double check it these day's. Good shout though!
