Girls aged 11 Get E-Cigarettes easily in North Wales

I live in very north Wales & it doesn't surprise me that underage kids can get hold of these products, Just one of those issues that is the failing of responsible adults who either serve these to kids or whoever goes & gets it for them.
A recent law was passed (Or change in law) which targeted the people who buy cigs & alcohol for underage kids.Bigger fines & all that. Clearly not everyone gives a shit though if this is true.

i was buying 10 B&H & a box of matches at age 11 in oxfordshire & carried on buying them from the shop next door to my school until i left. We still havn't learned.

I've only just caught up on this thread, but my belated post, and reply to the BBC article, is simply "What about the boys?" :P

Terrible

This is not helping our cause. Irresponsible people selling e-cigs to children . Its just as bad as selling normal cigarettes to children, Especially if there is nicotine in the juice. News reports like this make vaping sound like a bad thing when it has helped so many of us quit smoking easily.

And really, children are smoking e-cigs. I'v seen it myself. They are getting addicted the way many of us did so young to normal cigarettes. no doubt it will be a gateway to smoking and i will be sorry to see this .

I'm definitely not opposed to e-cigs. they are the best thing ever to happen to me. And with responsible adults they can be enjoyed. Shame on these mugs selling to children ..

Whilst not wishing to start anything.

1. Are the children using the e-cigs already using tobacco cigarettes.
2. Would the children using e-cigs be using tobacco cigarettes instead, if they can't get an e-cig.
3. Which would you prefer they use. (neither, in an ideal world) the known killers, or the safer alternative.
