Anyone use glass syringes, think its time I got some. Tired of the rubber coming off the plunger bit on the plastic ones.

When you're using concentrates which damage syringes is it the plastic which is ruined or the rubber. I don't want to blow £5 on a glass syringe for it to be knackered not long from now. I think its the plastic myself but wasn't sure?

Try these, I use them. The only thing I'll say against then is that they aren't the best when dry. I usually draw a bit of concentrate in, flush it back and then draw again to get your measurement. On the plus side, they are 100% glass so no plastic or rubber to perish and easy to clean.

Thanks, have you got a link to a decent supplier?

I bought glass syringes when I first started mixing and found that they're fine for concentrates. Add viscosity into the mix (like PG and VG) and they are very hit and miss because the gap around the plunger allows air to enter from the top. Unless you are considering buying glass syringes with stainless steel plungers, I would consider going for all plastic syringes (without the rubber thing on the end). I've been using them for nearly two years - and measuring cylinders - with no issues. :D

To be fair, I use measuring cylinders for vg and nic, and then a clean syringe for each flavour or mix, depending on what I'm making.

Ooh, nice site.
Yeah, it's one of those sites thats not hugely fashionable, no one really raves about it, but it's dependable and always worth a look. The owners used to be on here but I haven't seen them in donkeys

+1 to that recommendation. As you say, not one of the more widely publicised sites for some reason, but one of my regular go-to's for DIY bits and bobs. :D
