Glass Syringes

Thanks guys, Think ill go for 1ml glass and all plastic for larger syringes. Its only concentrates that ruin them, I can manage with plastic for VG/PG. Mainly menthol i found destroys them.

Unless you are considering buying glass syringes with stainless steel plungers, I would consider going for all plastic syringes (without the rubber thing on the end). I've been using them for nearly two years - and measuring cylinders - with no issues. :D

Where do you get those from?

2ml 5ml 10ml or 20ml Syringes With Blunt Needles. Refill ink e-cig Glue Flux | eBay

PP Disposable Syringes Applicators BD Becton Dickinson ALL SIZES Sterile Luer | eBay

I'm trying to find them cheaper on farm and vet supplies websites but struggling to find the ones you mention.

I bought a load from a medical suppliers a long time back. Still got loads, so drop me your name and address and I'll post some up to you :2thumbsup:

Added bonus is that the markings are indented, so they don't come off easily - and if they do fade, you can rub a marker pen over then and wipe off the excess and they are visible again :)

Thanks loads.. I go through many of the ones with the rubber bungs.

Do the plastic ones go stiff at all?

I'm not sure what you mean - but they do seem to do the same as the ordinary plastic ones when you use certain concentrates - the plunger feels less smooth, if that makes sense? Give them a good rinse and then they appear to "go back to normal". Hope that's along the right lines? :D

Have you got a link to the medical supplier you got the better plastic syringes from please?

I honestly can't remember where I got them from as it was over a year ago. They are the same as the ebay links Stu posted but blue rather than green.

I'll have a search to see what I can find. I seem to remember that they were on a special offer at the time, which is why I bought a box of each.

I'll post up if I can find the place :D

I had to start hunting after my last failed search..

Googling "Discardit Syringes" brings up a lot of results with these syringes. That may be a brand name, it may be the name of the nozzle.. I dunno *shrugs shoulders..

Yeah thats what i mean by stiff, with the rubber though they dont go back to moving nicely and it gets hard to accurately dispense 0.06ml for example. Thanks think i will go with glass just for concentrates. Then these plastic ones for 2ml+
