I dont know, but if you are anything like me, and entering my twilight years, you start to reminisce and slowly but surely a grin appears on your face from 'ear to ear'. Hell, it could be anything from childhood memories, past conquests, first love or those late teenage years where the world was your oyster, before marriage, mortgages, parenthood and other horrible things called responsibilities, meh :(

I digress, but a few days ago, we were talking about White dog poo on here, and that was one of those incidents. Well imagine my surprise, shock and horror, when I found myself in one of those reminiscing moments, that actually only took place 8 weeks ago! What was it, but the first time of vaping. The reasons for this?? I will come onto shortly.

To me, the critical part to vaping, is ensuring that the first time you do it, you get the satisfaction, the buzz and need I say it the enjoyment, or you arent going to succeed in your quest to give up the weed.

Now with the help of people like MrToast & $upermac, who pointed me in the direction of this site, or KulrMeStoopid for answering my first post within her trademark 7 seconds of my initial posting, I would not of come across all of the different bits of kit, that I could try and finally after receiving invaluable advice from Vaper Train I settled on the Vamo and Mini Nova Kit.

Well, this was the right choice for me, and I absolutely got hooked on vaping, but soon, as sometimes in life, you tend to move on, look for better bits of kit, and want to experiment or increase your knowledge, and forget about your 'first love' and consign them to the 'history banks' of the mind. I have moved on, and will continue the holy grail of trying as many mods, attys, flavours as I can, till I am as experienced as many of you............but today, I was grabbed with 2 hands, and taken back to 8 weeks ago, and what a bloody good experience it was!!

Thank you noisysprings for making this happen to me. You are an absolute legend :)

The aforementioned Vamo, as pictured below: -

Now whilst it is quite well made, I have had quite a few issues with the seal that has been circled. Is it a design fault or a vendor fault, NO. Its purely my fault, I am pretty rough with the equipment due to my work, if it goes in my pocket, its gonna get battered, and as a result, it has come apart on this seal a couple of times. As a result, it had been consigned to the draw, retired off, and kept purely for sentimental reasons. My 'first love' of vaping.

So imagine my surprise when noisysprings puts up a post saying he was manufacturing wraps for a vamo and was giving a few away for people to try. I duly responded, and hey presto, I had one coming, woohoo :yahoo:

Fast forward to this morning, in the post was this: -

Not only had care been taken in the manufacture of the wrap, but was supported with some cardboard in order to ensure it arrived to me in the same pristine condition that it was sent in, TOP MARKS :)

So out came the Vamo, dusted off, cleaned and then, I wrapped. I cannot fault how easy it was to do this, and the finished article is here: -

Now all the cut outs line up perfectly, and it just the right size. Now I am aware that this is hand made, and it adds to the endearing quality of this wrap, because its taken time to cut out and make, not from a machine, but from a fellow enthusiast, another amazing member from this community, and its a one off, noone else has one, that is exactly the same as mine. So once it was done, and in full flow of reminiscence, I decided to attatch the original vivi nova and fill up with the first juice (Hangsen RY4 24mg Juice) and Vape: -

I am back to the end of January. This Vamo is out of retirement, and being used the way it should be. Its awesome, just as importantly, I am back in love, with my 'first love'.

So thank you noisysprings, for more than just the wrap, please can you PM me your addy. :yourock:

I got my wrap today too! I am just waiting on my broken Vamo to make it back to me fixered up by the vendor :D

(7 seconds? I am going to have to improve on that!)

Another great post but as someone is no spring chicken himself I wonder whether you could define your 'twilight years' :hmm:

Mark, there is a 'bittersweet' response to your post.

Firstly, I am aware that you are a few years older than me, but age is just a number. You have this persona about you, one that is 'You are that 'cool' older brother that I always wanted as a kid.'

Unfortunately, none of my family have really entered a 'ripe old age' and have all died in their prime, so I have no illusions that I will make it there. I am fine about it to be honest, and have always saved into a pension, but its not my retirement fund, its my kid inheritance fund. :)
