GnuVape - Revolutionary Vaping Alternative

It's a good 'ole risible franchise con .... read the franchise section.

"Fees

In our system you are required to pay two up front fees. The first is the franchise fee, which is $25,000. The second fee is our required make ready package, the fee for this is $49,500. This package contains everything you need to open your store. This includes a neon sign, fixtures, furniture, POS system which includes inventory tracking, marketing materials, and opening inventory. We give you enough opening inventory to completely recapture your initial investment! So your upfront costs you pay to us total $74,500. We do have an ongoing royalty of 6.5% and a National ad fund of 1%. Those are all the fees and royalties we ever collect from you."

Sooo, you have to buy glycerin (with their proprietary kosher protein), and hardware they choose from their warehouse. This is to "buffer" you from the "unreliable" Chinese suppliers.

It only costs $74,500 with on ongoing slice of profits at 7.5%. If you like working with vampires it'll be fine :D

Annoying name too - makes you think it has some sort of open source connection.

They actually do vaping a massive disservice on their web site, in an attempt to appear altruistic: "First..make no mistake...there is an every growing health risk in the electronic cigarette market. The hotter and more powerful electronic cigarettes get..the worse this issue will become!"

What is this "every [sic] growing health risk" that they fail to quantify or substantiate?

We're used to misunderstanding, disinformation, factually incorrect information and lies from those who oppose vaping, but you don't expect it from a vape company!

Probably a vape company owned or funded by a tobacco company.
They have a lot of money to employ very clever tricksters.
Bit like "The Banks"

Money money money,exploit exploit exploit.

Big CHUNTS

This is what I thought as soon as I read it, they seem to be discrediting vaping using the usual scare tactics, yet are obviously keen to profit from it and I get the impression there is money behind them, maybe a sign of things to come. :(
