How To Goblin Mini Wicking by Pictures

Untitled.png

These little fellas? :) They are 2mm.

I use 2mm ID for the Zeph & goblin minis.
Oh, and if anyone's after a GM, SRVapes have them for 19.5 quid. :D

Used this method on my Zephyrus today and it wicks just fine, plus no leakage very happy :)

This has become my go to wicking technique in 2 billow v2s and my goblin mini.

More flavour than ever before and no dry hits.

Only challenge is getting the wick down on the side of the coil next to the negative posts.

Glad I discovered it because up until now I've been going with minimal wick and suffering from weaker flavour and dry hits on big tokes

I have seen a few threads recently with people having problems trying to wick the goblin mini and giving up on it when it is such an amazing wee atty
This is not a definitive way to wick it however I have wicked both of mine this way many many times and have never had a dry hit or a leak once so maybe worth a try if you're struggling [emoji1]

I've coiled this dual coil at 0.70 ohms

Snip off a couple of strips of jap cotton / muji, remove a thin layer of the outer layer and thread through the coils with very slight resistance and nothing more

View attachment 62654

Pull the four ends up and slip the chimney over the top and screw on, making sure none of the cotton is trapped

View attachment 62655

Snip the cotton flush with the top of the chimney base

View attachment 62656

Fluff up all four parts of the wick with tweezers or similar, blow on them to open up the fibres

View attachment 62657

Using tweezers or similar, push the ends of the cotton down into the gaps between the coils and chimney walls, do not push too far in or too tight, the cotton does not need to go right down into the channels it will sit fine on top

Juice wicks, reassemble atty and fill

Vape on with the wee beauty and enjoy ! [emoji1][emoji100][emoji100]

Hi and thanks for the tip , I've just bought a Goblin mini , and was dreading it leaking juice all over , I will definitely use this method ,
Doing it that way gives you a bit of a guide for cutting the wick the right length
Cheers Simon

Cool tip thanks I've just got one through the post ,

Tartanspartan you are the MAN! I just got a goblin mini on Friday and spent hours and hours this weekend trying to get it wicked right by following various tutorials on YouTube to no avail. I just tried your method and got it working beautifully on my first go! Think ill try this method with my billow v2 next time I re wick it!
