No matter what way i try all i get is burnt tastes. Ive tried mesh wicks, silica, ecowool and nothing is working. No matter what i try its driving me mad!

Have you tried it as a autofeed dripper?
I had some success using a kraken this way. Just make a little microcoil, thread some cotton through, leaving both ends on the deck. Fill the tank and vape away. You'll need to periodically tip the device to wet the wick.
Did that make sense? It's very late.

Hold your horses! The burnt taste will almost certainly be because of a hot spot. If you've got time, post some pics of your latest coil from a different couple of angles, and let's see if we can't change your mind.

I'm telling you now - I had nothing but problems with Protanks, leaking gurgling, etc. I moved to the AGA T+ over the last couple of weeks and everything is different now. It's a joy. Once you spot the tell tale signs of hotspots, it's cake to fix.

If youre selling I'll buy it, try mesh with a cotton top to get rid of hotspots, enlarge the airhole to about 2mm and boom!!

I've never had any luck with the t2 (got the + myself) really using anything other than 2mm silica with stainless wrapped round it and dual .20 coils with 4-5 wraps. Even after I got it working I barely ever pick the thing up, will be putting it up in the classies with a boat load of other bits and bobs soon.

OK, first thing to ask - did you try firing the coil before filling with eliquid? And if you did, were the coils all glowing? You can obviously empty the tank, flush with water and then re try the coil dry, but when you fire it dry, make sure volts/watts are ramped right down, otherwise the kanthal will pop.
