Got my baby octopus rda today

Picked it up today, was really excited to try it, but every attempt I've made has made me gag and/or cough my guts up, with a horrible harsh burnt taste.
Anyone else had this? Or know how to remedy it?

Are you using the coil & silica that came with it ? If so, rip it out & bin it.

Couple of pointers for you. Make a tidy coil weather micro coil or other, get the coil height to line up with the air hole on the cap OR slightly up so the air is hitting the coil near its mid-bottom. Make sure air can circulate around the coil, no wick in the way. A well charged battery will deliver a better result, what device are you using ?

The stock coil & wick is always a looser, bin fodder. Get some .28mm kanthal from stealthvape (Quality) & some wick of choice, i prefer cotton wool but some people like silica or other. I doubt you'll get a good result from a clearo coil.

Actually, i say .28mm but if you are wrapping standard coils around silica maybe go for a thinner gauge. Perhaps 0.20mm - 0.25mm. The thicker stuff is better for micro coils.

Nothing is set in stone, it's a rebuildable rda but this might give you some clues, it's in the detail ! You ego batteries will fire it although not ideal.

Got to try out the micro coils sent to me by Adamson today.
Wow amazing difference.
He also sent me some extra kanthal, so I'm going to have ago at building my own tonight.
