While I'm not entirely new to vaping, I am new to the forum, so I thought I'd post my introduction.
I am a vaping story nobody likes to promote, in that I was already a successful ex-smoker when I began vaping. I quit smoking 3 years ago, but in that time I always missed the ritual and social side of smoking - especially sitting with a book , a cuppa, and a smoke in the garden on a nice day - and often when I was out with people who smoke, I would beg one off them and indulge (only to regret it later when my lungs protested). I gained a lot of weight, as I replaced the cigarettes with nibbles. My blood pressure went up with my weight. So after many months of consideration and research, I finally bought an e-cig last summer.
For my entry into vaping, I went with the iTaste v3. It remains my go-to device, although the gadget geek in me is becoming more and more intrigued by mods...
I'm a nic-free vaper, and I find myself constantly pointing out that not all juices contain nicotine. I also find it getting tougher to find good nic-free juices, to the point I've been considering just going DIY.
So far my only issue with vaping has been my ears. It seems some liquids really irritate my eustachian tubes, which is a bummer, as I am already hearing impaired. Anyone else dealt with this? Did you find a certain PG/VG ratio helped?
Anyhoo, there is my life story. See you around!
