Hangsen Vanilla Custard, Making it better?

I recently bought 100ml of the hangsen vanilla custard from bargain vapes.
Whilst it vapes quite pleasantly I do notice that there is a distinct bitterness to it and its nowhere near as smooth as something like Monkey Jizz.
I have been reading a few of the custard themed threads here and am wondering if maybe the addition of some ethyl maltol or stevia might tame the harshness of the aftertaste? Could I even add vanilla essence food flavouring?
I'm not too bothered about losing a bit of the Nic strength as its 18mg and dropping it a bit isn't going to hurt.
Any advise would be welcomed.

I think with some recipes they add dulche de leche to help with the flavour, and ethyl maltol is added to help bind the flavours.
I am new to DIY myself, hopefully someone with more experience can confirm or deny?

hi mate Doofry is correct dulche de leche is for a creaminess and EM is a very strong sweetener ask your self do you want a creamy custard or a sweet custard. i only add 2 drops tops per ten MLS. i have just done my first two custards now vanilla and normal cant wait :) .

Thanks for the advice.
I have managed to order some dulche de leche flavouring and some vanilla flavouring so I'll have an experiment.

EM isn't a straight forward sweetener, though a little goes a long way, they use it in candyfloss, it makes flat flavours ping.

I have vaped probably 70ml of the 100ml Vanilla Custard and I can honestly say it's to a point now where I am throwing the rest out!

It's dire in my opinion!
