So I'm pretty good at mixing, normally mixing a 3mg max VG with a flavouring at 20%.

So I tried a rebranded range from chefs vapour, mixed 3ml of flavouring, 2ml of nic and 44mls of vg. And holy shit is it harsh, and I don't know why. Can concentrates be harsh?

Doing quick maths it appears you're mixing at about 6% in this case, and the rebranded range from chefs vapour should typically be used at 1-5%, so try halving it and see what happens.

I doubt that 1% too much will make a difference... it's not that flavourful anyway. Just harsh.

yes they can. concentrates vary hugely, massively in fact ... even with the same range.

I find flavour manufacturers can be really good at some flavours and really bad at others.

Its about shopping about between the different manufacturers and finding who does what best, no one manufacturer does all of them perfectly
