Have I finally come to my senses after 43 years

Thanks very much for the enouragement lads. I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks and love the reviews and the banter. Cheers.

Hi all. Well here we go, my first time on here and it feels like being at Alcoholics Anonymous! Ha ha. I'm ashamed to say that I've been a smoker for 43 years but I'm determined to give it up this time. Been stopped for 2 weeks with the help of E cigs. I've tried the patches and everything but this definately seems to be the route to take. I might add, I havent saved any money yet. Its cost me a packet buying all the gear. SVDs, Kayfuns, Krakens x2, sigelei, battery chargers, more batteries than I know what to do with and that much juice its starting to come out of my ears. But hey, its working! My edest daughter came in the other day and said what a lovely smell in here. Enough said I suppose. Anyways, thats enough of my ramblings. Hello all. Take heed from a Scottish laddie, smoking is a mugs game.

Welcome to the planet, I too (and my bank balance) feel the pain of having to spend a chunk to get into vaping but it's worth it.

Welcome & well done! Looks like you've got all the gear to be successful this time. B-)

Hello and welcome! You are certainly starting vaping in style with all that kit! Congratulations on making the switch :)

Thanks all. The postman has been to the door virtually every day since I stopped. I should stop reading things on here, I blame you lot. Ha ha. Its given me more vigour and I really want to stop smoking now. I still dont understand though why you have to create a ton of smoke! Its maybe just me.

hi ive only been off the stinkies for a couple of weeks now after being on rollies for 35 years and thanks to all the advice ive had from people on here on starter kits and ejuice i have seen the light. only had one break down and had a roll up once and can honestly say i didnt like the taste, so think vaping is gonna keep me off em.I couldnt get on with baccie flavour juices so am just sticking to fruit flavours. well done on makin the change. keep it up and hopefully you or me wont go back.

Ha ha, know what you mean. Keep reading rave reviews and I'm straight on the sites spending way too much wonga. I've got to say that after many failed attempts over 35 years this is definitely IT. I don't fancy a cig at all, amazing. Love vaping, when I can get the right combination of kit and juice. I've not heard of your kit.....just going to check them out:mail:

Welcome also from me.
And can I just add. That all that money spent over your 43 years of smoking (35 for me) went up in smoke. What your spending your fag money on now (like me), you can sit and admire, while enjoying it.
20 fags a day = £7 x 7 days = £49.
One vamo v5 per week = £36. That leaves £13 per week for e-juice, and you still break even.
