Have i got this right.

Having looked about here and youtube etc. Have I got this right. Ce5 on an ego own coil 1.8 ohms vapes nicely. Same ce5 on Vmax (don't start it's my first mod) voltage set at 3.6v, vapes like burnt toast. Can I therefore assume the Vmax is as they say, not very accurate, and running about a volt higher than set. As i'm pretty sure this is the case, should I not be using a coil closer to 3 ohms, to allow for lowering the voltage for certain juices. The info I need might be here somewhere but can't find it if it is. PS. my pocket money won't stretch to bigger and better yet, gotta make do. I'd like to thank you all in advance for your help.

you got it. the vmax puts out more than it should, so compensate with higher resistance to tame it down a bit

Vv and vw devices have alot more kick you would probably find just 3v would be better if not still to much power

Thanks for that, might be something quirky to the ce5, just stuck an mt3 with 1.8 coil on, and at 3.8v i'm happily puffing like Thomas.
