I bought some of those vape grips and they didn't really work with the Hammer but they were useful for other things that were stuck tight. I had to use pliers and I scratched the button but I bought a cheaper version from FT and swapped out the scratch. Incidentally the FT version is almost as good as the Hcigar version but much cheaper.

when i first got mine i had to remove the button section and grip the lock ring with my teeth to undo it

The original Hammer by Kato suffers from the same problem. I love the mod, but it is quite annoying when you forget about it and end up spinning the ring too much and locking your button too tightly

I found this in 350 mode mainly, so I put a small washer in the switch that leaves a small gap in front of the lock ring - worked a treat. I use mine in 650 now though and find the lock ring fine this way

no probs I put it under the spring in the recess part of the bit that screws into the hammer
