amazing how the manufacture and fasttech can knock out mods at these prices, makes you wonder if the real deal is really worth paying for

erm, no never understood how the originals seem to demand such high prices. I get the whole hand crafted thing but at the end of the day its a threaded tube with a switch and connector. Not value for money imo.

Needs some tweaks to make it great sand the chrome plating from the pins to get brass. from what I can see on voltages tests it definitely not silver plated pins. Give the locking ring a polish to remove the gold plating

Do you mind taking some close ups and is the finish nice?

yeah i'll have a play with it at the weekend, and ill try and get some more pics of the various components. The finish is spot on, no machine marks or nics and its nicely but not over polished.

I'd understand if it was only a couple 100 pieces a year, then they are limited, but there knocking them out at a rate that that can't justify the price

I saw some VD tests on fasttech and ecf cant remember the links mate but im sure google will answer TBH I would of thought they was silver plated anyway as whats the point in chrome plating the pins.

The K100 has chrome-plated pins, as does the Smok ePipe clone (maybe the Smok pipe too, I don't know).

For some God-forsaken reason Beautiful chrome-plate half of the contacts on the £60 Hero as well. I reckon it's a Chinese thing to do with the silvery look because it's rank stupidity from an electrical point of view.
