Is your air control ring completely even if you look straight on and from above? Mine seems slightly to one side.

Take it off and check the rubber o ring is in properly, one side of it is flat

Polishing seems like hard work. I'll stick with finger prints and scratches

I must admit I keep letting my 8w start to tarnish but after a few days I have to crack open the tin of Silvo and shine it all up nice again
