Hcigar Taifun GT and SS tank

Hi, I understand the ft ss tank doesn't fit the Hcigar TGT, before I try and order a pukka one, does anyone know if the original Taifun stainless steel tank will fit?
Currently have some Kraken Red Lady and unsure if it's safe with the plastic tank, and most of my preferred juices are possible tank crackers so could do with the safety it brings anyway:-)

Unfortunately it doesnt fit I purchased one for the Hcigar from Whitefog, it didnt fit, so I had to lie, to get a refund

I have had Red Lady in a Taifun, and it didnt crack the tank, but over tightening it did

Ah cheers for that Andy, good and bad news, i'll re coil the thing in a moment and fill her up with red lady then:-)
Now unsure how I'm gonna wick it, micro coil and cotton or silica and 3/4 wraps of 0.2 kanthal? Not been getting the best flavour from it so far to be honest , not like my kfl, any tips for a fellow from Worle ;-)

I use 0.2 kanthal and 2 x 3mm silica, and I find it works perfectly, much better than my Kayfun.

On a mech I will do 2.5 wraps and on a regulated device 3.5, I find it easier if to connect to the terminals if the legs are in the opposite direction, hence the half a wrap

I use 3.5 wraps of .3 kanthal microcoil and organic cotton wool @ 1.2ohms or if im in a 'wild ' mood i'll do 2.5 wraps and get 0.9ohms

That's maybe where I've been going wrong with the cotton then, been using 0.32 kanthal, 9 wraps round a 3 ml drill bit, gives me 1.5 ohm, I've got a few options to keep trying now cheers, it's all part of the fun;-)

I'm currently running 5 wraps of 0.32mm kanthal on a mesh wick with a piece of 2mm silica on top of the coil. Comes out about 1.4ohms, no dry hits or flooding :-)

Is the flavour ok with this wick set up then? I just can't seem to get much out of it using standard silica set up or micro coil and cotton builds, I'm setting up well, no leaks or gurgling etc, just a lack of flavour, tried different juices too, red lady, snake oil and custards, what mesh size was it, 400? May have to try this too as getting a tad Fed up with it compared to my kfl

Back to the stainless steel tank for this, I've been in contact with Leo at Hcigar about possible production of one to fit their Taifun GT, he's currently looking into this with his boss and I'm waiting to hear if they will roll with this:-)
I'll update this thread hopefully over the next week with any updates good or otherwise.
