What's new

hello everyone

Hi Mark I'm in dudley. Duality I've been looking at variable voltage stuff as I guess its the next logical step but its something I need to look into. Being such a newbie to this vaping lark any thing other than a battery and a cartomiser seems way to technical for me.

You will be fine when you switch to VV and you will wonder why you never switched earlier, plenty of threads on the vamo and LT and other VV options on the site so have a bit of an explore and if you have any question feel free to ask,

I know how you feel, I was on ciga-lookalike for 11 months just because everything else looked so complicated. I bought some ego batteries (passthrough & ego spinner) and clearomizers on december after a month later bought vamo. lol

Take your time and ask questions if you have them. We will try to help as much as we can. :)

What is actually the purpose of being able to alter the voltage? Do I use regular cartomisers? Can I mess anything up having voltage to high or low? I had a browse at the vamo stuff on vape escape. I'd need the vamo, battery's and a charger and that's it? Thanks already for all the advice.

Changing the voltage lets you change the power that gets to a device. The Vamo lets you do this via wattage. More watts = more power, more power = more heat generated, more heat = more vapour. Less watts is the reverse of this.

Can you mess things up? It's possible, but you should get hints that things are going wrong before they happen - increasing things by small amounts should avoid any problems.

If I were you, I would pop over to Liberty Flights, get a cheap vision spinner variable voltage device, ego style, and try and see if the whole vv thing works for you, you can get a discount from the discount code page here, it is POTV, that will cut the cost further, or LF have a daily discount code that they will usually post on their facebook page which can vary, so will sometimes be as high as 30% off, not often that high though.
Then, if you like that, go for a vamo, vv and also variable wattage, a nifty device that can cost between £33 and £44 depending on where you buy it, and whether you need just a body, or a full kit, which will give you batteries and a battery charger as well, Vaper Train and esmoke uk are two example of places to say, go for kits, vapingthings, where I got mine, do just the body for £33.
Just look around, at the discount codes page here, the vendors section too, and google some youtube device reviews, I'd say, and hello.

Edit: Straight up variable voltage will give you warmer vape at higher volts, but for a low resistance atomizer say, that could burn your juice, or blow your coil, whereas variable wattage is less likely to do that, as most vw devices will detect your ohm resistance, and adjust accordingly.
