so where do we start.
as mentioned above the more info you can give the quicker we can advise on what may work for you.

firstly couging, weve all been there. this is part of the detoxing of the body and is quite normal and should clear fully within a week or two depending for how many years you was chuggin on 20 a day.

to give an idea i smoked for 37 years of 20-30 a day and started on capsten full strength then moved to b&h.
i tried 2 or 3 times using cig a like which tbh were shite.
after that it was a pen type like a ego pen with 18mg and i stopped over night. a month later when the first ever sub tank was released i dropped to 3mg and stuck there ever since. that was 8 years ago. with arthritis ive been seeing hundreds of doctors over the past 35 years and every one after checking my chest xrays have said my lungs would be classed as a never smoker.

so what kits mod and tank have you tried and what make of juice. (there are some great flavours and suppliers out there but there is also a lot of shite juice and way too many fakes and clones). check holy grail link at bottom.

so what style and wattage have you tried. freebase nicotine (3,6,9,12,18mg) or nicotine salts (5,10,20mg).
MTL mouth to lung just like smoking a cig where you inhale into mouth and then take down to lungs. uses low wattage with high nicotine.
DTL direct to lung sub ohm where you inhale directly into the lungs. a bit like using a bong or an inhaler. uses high wattage with lower nicotine and big clouds.

they did make a few decent kits but then flooded the market with almost a new kit every week which affected their QC.

so 6mg nic shots. are you vaping the 10ml bottle or are you adding the nic shot to a larger shortfill bottle which has zero nicotine in them.
if so adding 1 10ml nic shot to 50ml zero will make 60ml at 3mg

i mainly vape sub ohm so not upto date on mtl kits. last one i bought was 7 years ago and still using today for my backy infused 15 mins a day of manabush.

as youve already got a few mods then really all you need is a mtl tank.
only two i know about is the

Well hello there and a jolly spiffing to the forum wot wot! I too and from ENGLAND, well I'm half WELSH but enough about me. Did you get all your advice from a vape store by any chance? Smok have some decent kits but the majority is rubbish. If you could find out what you've tried and the liquid you've tried we can better advise. If you're unsure then post a picture and we can work it out. The more info we have the better but I wish you luck on your vape journey and we are here to help.

Nautilus 3, Innokin Zlide are great indeed and you can't go wrong with either but personally the best MTL stock coil tank I have is the Fireluke22.

I just bought different smok brands, its been a little while totally forgot what I brought but tried both MTL and DTL. I had better go with MTL vape mods.

Thank you for your welcome. I had three smok kits two was MTL and one was DTL. the MTL cost around £25 to £50 and the DTL was about £40.

Fair play on quoting everyone there and replying individually! Must have taken you a while!

My suggestion would be anything that gets you away from the cigs to start. MTL would definitely be the way to go running a slightly higher Nic strength. As a rough guide I used to say 5-10 cigs per day, 3mg, 10-13, 6mg, 13-20, 12mg and 20+, 18mg. That’s a very rough guide though and you’ll quickly know where is best for you. (all of those freebase nicotine)

Devices… get something cheap and cheerful, you can always reward yourself with a new higher end device with all the money you’ll save being away from cigs. A Pod System would be my suggestion, cheap, easy and do the job well. Personal favourite is the Caliburn AK2 as pods last weeks upon weeks and they are just generally really good.

i was just adding one nic shot in to the bottle so its is 3mg I was vaping.

all vampire vapes something its ok but i prefer elements pink lemonade on a decent MTL.

i tried 70/30 and 50/50 flavors

all vampire vapes something its ok but i prefer elements pink lemonade on a decent MTL.

i gave up on 18mg overnight.
then a month later dropped to 3mg

mtl is best with 50/50 as 70vg may be too thick and why your getting dry hits so a burnt taste.
it depends on which coil though as some can handle 70vg

vampire vapes was the second or third make i tried and some decent favours.
loads of people love elements but i tried and not to my taste.

If you're just quitting then 3mg is low and you'll struggle to get enough nicotine to stop the cigarette cravings. If you look at @Chris K post then that's a decent guide. For 20 a day I'd say you'd need at least 12mg but probably 18mg to start with and for MTL I'd go 50/50. I gave up 20 a day on 12mg and am still on 12mg but I'm not smoking so it's all good.
