Hi all, just joined the site so I guess an intro is in order. I started vaping just after New Year 2014, and I've been cig free since 21 January this year with no intention of going back to the stinkies. I started smoking in 1965 and was smoking 30 or so Amber Leaf rollies a day, so packing up was a big thing for me, which I wouldn't have done without vaping as a realistic alternative.

As far as equipment goes, I'm currently using Protank 2s fitted with the Aerotank adjuster base and Aerotanks on a Vamo V5, and I've recently learnt the dark art of coil rebuilding so I can now consistently get a 2 ohm coil. The Aerotanks I recoil as single coils with a flavour wick on top, which works well enough with [for me] no noticeabe loss of flavour.

I live in Medway in Kent, so if you're nearby, say hello, it would be good to actually meet other vapers.

I gave up around that time and then had an accident and broke my arm into 5 pieces. After 5 days heavy morphine and then weeks of more painkillers, I can't remember exactly when I started vaping, in fact I couldn't remember much at all, but it didn't matter!!

So April fools day seemed an apt anniversary for me, easy to remember too

- this coming from someone who was 42 for 20 months, until someone questioned my maths and corrected me!!
