Hi @Christoff and welcome to the planet.

I cant help as i dont build but hopefully someone will be along soon to advise.

It should be reading 0.18 ohms or thereabouts, in a dual coil rda.

Is it reading the same on another mod?

Sorry - just looked at the pics again ............. you did try! :D

I'd check the build, then try with a single coil and see what that reads?

My thoughts exactly can't get it to read differently and on both mods so I don't know what's going on thanks for replying and me knowing I'm not going insane

Yeah 0.3 on the drag and 0.33 on the aegis and it's a dual set up so idk

I can’t guarantee you’re not going insane ;)

I’ve no experience of tiger coils, or dual coil rdas, but you need to approach it as a problem solving exercise. Have you used any of these coils before, and managed to get a reading close to 0.18 ohms - or are these totally new coils? Either way, as @Crewella suggested, I would remove 1 coil, and see what a single coil reads: to give you a baseline as to what the coils are to start with, and whether they’re registering on the mod at all (the mods might only be reading 1 if there’s some problem on the deck).

New coils and first time using the tiger so yeah I'll try that thanks

I've had a tub of those coils for a few years that a seller on eBay threw in as a freebie but never got around to using them because I don't use Kanthal much - I've just fitted a pair of them and got a reading of 0.35 ohms - so yours are closer to the stated resistance than mine lol.

I think its just that particular brand of coils mate. I believe they are just cheap generic Chinese coils and they just write whatever specs they feel like on the tubs. I've tried a few different types of coils that came in that style tub - the resistance was always way off. The bulky complex wires can be close (but take forever to ramp up) but the twisted wire variants are way off

It isn't your mod or atty at fault bud - the coils work alright but are a bit meh.

If you want to buy reasonable budget coils, Coilology, Wotofo, Vandy and Geekvape are OK. Those cheap Kanthal tubs are a bit wank.
