Help! - How do I remove a fast tech hana 510 connector??

To cut a long story short the originals threads on my fana's 510 connector are no longer there lol.... cheap crappy connector with soft threads!. I have a new connector on its way (spring loaded 14mm varitube) so my question is how on gods earth do I remove the current connector without completely trashing the case?.

Hi i tapped mine out from underneath 510 ie inside with an old screwdriver next bit not so easy. You can either tap and die it or I gave up on that idea and and drilled it out to fit the 510, got some strong epoxy resin and it works a treat. Hope this works for you. Also if you're inside there why not change the fire button to a 12mm, works a treat. You can get these off Seedy on here. ; ). mumra

The varitube is to short Unless you do a lot of hacking inside!!

hi also make sure the brass bottom + connection centre pin does not touch the side seen in pic (dead short possible ) ; )

Good to know waiting for hana to be in my hand fitting both for another member
Knew it would be tight have FDV to try also but they are in work and top cap is deeper
May heat shrink switch body
