Hi I have recently got into vaping and brought myself a kangertech subox mini, i have been vaping element pink lemonade using the pre supplied 0.5ohm occ at about 38 watts which has been ideal for me. I have now changed to the supplied rba which I wicked myself and used the included pre made coil, i am now registering 0.6 ohms but if I take it above 22 watts i start to get a burnt taste im not sure why this is happening any help please

Cheers Damon

Can you take a picture and post it here?
It's likely to be too much/too little cotton, but a PIC would confirm.

Also post a pic of the RBA side.
V2 have holes in them (similar to stock OCC), V1 just have small juice channels at the bottom (and are better when modified to V2).

Element is 80% VG so that could explain it. Presumably you used the supplied cotton - get some premium cotton, Bacon or Fibre Freaks, these wick better than standard Muji.

In my experience, the V1 is superior for high VG juices. I think the V2 was just a rushed copout by Kanger to counter unscrewing issues with the V1 and was actually a backward step.

Which element are you using. Theres the standard 50/50 or the dripper series?

Make sure you not using to much wick, you can end up choking the wick in the coil if you use to much and it will burn.

Looking at your pick it looks like the coil could do with a dry burn to clean it up abit.

To be honest with you though I have had both the V1 and V2 and could never get it over 25watts with the RBA deck. I just stick with 15 lol

As mentioned above, don't put too much cotton and once you're done with the wicking slide the screwdriver provided by kangertech down the side of the barrel of the rba towards the juice channel. You should be able to see light coming through the juice channel. I've been doing it that way for a long time and never failed me.
