Hi everyone,
can anyone help. What am I doing wrong?
ok, been vaping for about 5 months , quietly reading forums and watching u tube etc.
Started with and ego C and clearomiser and have been relatively happy, but the more I researched the more I thought I would end up with a provari anyway and decided to save taking a long and winding route and spending a fortune to just go for it and take the plunge.
So I took a deep breath ordered a provari mini a vivi nova, and as I'd never tried tanks before purchased a wee willie tank.
They all arrived today and couldn't wait to get started but I can barely get the bugger to work (either with the tank or vivi)tried different voltages etc, -pulling on the damn thing till I'm blue in the face, and either get nada or very little, nothing like the quality vape I was expecting . It seems to be firing up ok , the digital display is working fine and I'm getting the pop and crackle but no vapour, it did manage to spit some juice straight onto my eyeball though, so sat here now skint, with a bright red eye and very fed up.
Help

That was huge step from egoC. The Provari is a much more advanced and precise device (though I do understand you taking the plunge). To get the best vape you need to find what is called the sweet spot, this can be achieved by using the variable voltage feature adjusting in .1 increments and as a guide with a vivi nova start trying from about 3.7v going up to a max of 4.5 which is generally where the vivi nova can start to taste burnt. What you are looking for is a balance between vape density and flavour, bear in mind everyones sweet spot can be different. I hope this can help you to manage an excellent device well and find that vape you are looking for.

All the best

Simon

If you dont leave a gap between the top of the provari and the bottom of whatever tank you are using, if there isnt a side airhole (the airholes are normally close to the thread of the tank/carto) then you will be blue in the face... try loosening it up and never ever over tighten them :D

Thanks for your response Simon, but I can't find the sweet spot as when I take a drag its like its blocked?

See Kulrmestoopids post .. sounds like you are blocking the airflow

Thank you,

:yourock:
That seems to have done the trick.
Just working on the sweet spot.....

You gotta love it when something finally works, especially after spending all that dosh on a Provari

I know i was gutted...
soon as that was suggested had that doh! moment...
anyhow alls good now, :stinker:

sweet spot is just voltage that you find the juice at its best simple as that, there is no this is the voltage that is best its just whats best for you............. simple mistake and simple fix
