Hi all. I'm Rick from Buxton. Smoked for 19 years. Until trying a tornado ego c from the local totally wicked shop about two months ago. During this time I've bought 2 10 packs of cigs. So not bad going so far! Even bought the totally wicked e pipe which is great at night.

I've now completely gone off the tobacco liquid (it just started to taste awful) and I like trying the fruity flavours etc. Favorite ones at the min are orange candy (it's like catnip!), lemon and lime and red bull.

Now looking into the mods and finding out which ones are good. Thinking of getting one of the wooden Xfire ones for Xmas and trying one of the box mods.

Is there any feedback on the Kts mod with the x8 / x9 tank? And I'm really on the lookout for a good looking Steampunk ecig. These seem hard to source. I have quite a thing for unusual things!

There's just toi much to choose from and when you start there is no way to stop.
Welcome to the planet. :)

one of the best workhorse mech mods on the market is the brass m16 and as its brass you could mod it up yourself and make it look steampunky.

Hi all, thanks for the welcomes and I'll have a look into those. It's all new to me. Although I'll probably get one of the wooden X fires. And I've been looking at the Chi you clones, the caravelas look pretty cool, the lavatubes and the Kts mods with x8 protanks. Their all mostly on the nation's favorite auction site. Decisions decisions!

indigotheory, there are lots of versions of lots of the mods, not all as good as each other. Beware also of ebay purchases, sometimes there's a reason for the cheapness.

Read through some of the review posts. If you find something you like, do some research and ask advice on here.

I'm not trying to put you off, just trying to save you going through some of the learning curves that others have already been through!

Hi there. Thanks for the tip. Agreed It's sometimes very hard to make a good judgement with stuff on the Internet, without actually seeing it etc.

In my experience with people selling stuff like this on eBay, the first question to think about would be "so why are they selling it?".....

Seems like the same sort of research process when choosing a new phone when your contracts up. Do the research, lurk the forums, YouTube reviews etc, until you sort out the wheat from the chaff and make a decision! However, when I drop on one of these Steampunk mods I know I'll just go for it. Those were actually the first modded ecigs I saw, and the majority of the time with things like this you always tend to go back to that first thing you saw!

Welcome to the Planet @indigotheory...:welcome2:. If you're looking for something unusual you should take a look at the E-pipes from Mythical Fabrications at Kraken E-Cigs MrKraken is a top bloke and he will be glad to help if one of those takes your fancy. There are a few Steampunk modders out there but their kit is usually custom made so prices can be a bit steep...
